Things To Do
Enjoy your stay at Hilton Munich City and explore everything Munich has to offer. Guests travelling on business will have excellent connections to Fairgrounds and ICM Congress Center as well as a direct S-Bahn link to the central station and the international airport. Adjacent to the hotel you can enjoy a classical concert of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra at Gasteig, the center for culture and education. Only a short walk away and you will find yourself at Deutsches Museum, the world's largest museum of technology and science, with exhibitions from astronautics and marine navigation to pharmacy and tunnel construction. In the re-opened planetarium you can reach for the stars.
Within walking distance to Munich's Old Town the large market square Marienplatz is a beautiful place to have a coffee and listen to the famous Glockenspiel in the town hall at 11am and noon. Another must see is the historic Viktualienmarkt farmers' market where you can enjoy traditional Bavarian beer at one of the beer gardens. To make your stay even more memorable, stroll along the magnificent bank of the river Isar and visit the Tierpark Hellabrunn Zoo, one of the most biologically diverse zoos in Europe and home to many rare species.
Our Concierge service is happy to assist if you require further information about the city of Munich. Hilton Munich City is also an ideal home base for a visit to the annual Oktoberfest – 16 days of crazy fun that start each year on the third Saturday of September.
