A visit to Taupo is a trip to some of the most awe inspiring natural beauty you’ll ever see. With stunning blue water and some of the best trout fishing in the world, Lake Taupo lies in the caldera of a prehistoric volcano, covering an area of 238 sq. miles. Over 55,000 gallons of aqua-blue water per second hurtle over the narrow cliffs of the Huka Falls. Take a jet boat tour on the river or simply marvel at the scenery.
