Paul Durand-Ruel, a visionary Parisian art dealer who enthusiastically championed this radical new style of painting will showcase his art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art this summer. This exhibition examines the critical years from 1865 to 1905 when Durand-Ruel both inspired and sustained artists like Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Édouard Manet, Camille Pissarro, and Edgar Degas. World-famous masterpieces by these artists and others will be shown with historical photographs and documents to explore this vital period.
As part of the tour, the exhibit will only be showcased at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Dorrance Special Exhibition Galleries, first floor. This will be the only stop in the Americas. With that, The Inn at Penn, a Hilton Hotel is offering this special offer in honor of the special exhibit.
