Step into timeless elegance as you walk inside the historic lobby of Athenee Palace Hilton hotel. The marble columns, the high ceiling and crystal chandeliers welcome you to experience the glamour of a landmark iconic building.
As you step inside the lobby of Athenee Palace Hilton hotel through the revolving glass door, you see the Concierge Desk to your right, the French-style restaurant Café Athenee on your left, and a central round table with a beautiful flower arrangement right in the middle of the Reception area. Two big marble columns flank the lobby and small steps on the right take you to the shops inside the hotel, such as a jewelry shop, a tailor studio and a cigar shop. With your back to the entrance of the hotel, as you continue towards the central table with the flower arrangement, the Front Office Desk is on your left side, and two elevators on your right. This is the original wing of the hotel, with only five levels, which means that the two elevators on the right take you only up to the fifth floor. For the seventh floor in the new wing of the building, you will have to take one of the two elevators in the back-lobby area. As you continue straight, going around the central round table in the Reception area, you enter the marvelous Les Colonnades area, with 20 marble columns, ten on each side of the lobby, which sustain the high ceilings with sparkling chandeliers. Alongside the walls, comfortable sofas and chairs are clustered around wood and glass coffee tables, where guests can relax. Beautiful mirror-glass imposing doors and marble panels decorate the walls on each side of this majestic lobby. As you stop in the middle of the lobby, you will discover facing each other the two ballrooms of the hotel, Le Diplomate historic Ballroom on the left, and Regina Maria Hall on the right. The tour continues with the back-lobby, which is separated by the main lobby, Les Colonnades, by five steps and an accessible platform. Right next to the stairs, on the left side, visitors can discover the History Wall of the hotel, which presents photos and historic milestones of the Athenee Palace. Opposite this, you can find the staircase towards the upper levels of the hotel. In the middle of the back-lobby you can find a massive red leather couch, surrounded by comfortable chairs and glass coffee tables. Next to it on the right, you can find the elevators which can take you up to the seventh floor, and right next to them, on the back-wall, the entrance to English Bar opens to visitors. Above the middle red-couch, an elegant opening permits visitors to see up to the 1st floor Meetings Area. Continuing towards the left side of the back-lobby, you find the entrance to the hotel's main restaurant, Roberto's, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, and further on the left, another entrance in the hotel, the back-lobby one, which takes you directly to Calea Victoriei boulevard.
In Roberto's Italian Restaurant, guests can experience 'pura cucina italiana' at its best, featuring a variety of dishes cooked to perfection by professional chefs led by Chef Franz Conde. The contemporary décor of the restaurant, the elegant atmosphere and the fine menu introduce guests to Roberto's authentic version of la bella vita.
Situated on the ground floor, with entrance from the back-lobby, Roberto's is the signature restaurant of Athenee Palace Hilton hotel, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, and featuring a menu of traditional Italian recipes prepared in the true Italian style. The restaurant can accommodate up to 108 people, plus 14 seats in the private dining space, and 90 seats on the outdoor terrace during summertime. As you step into the restaurant, you can see that it is divided into three areas, separated by wooden panels: the open kitchen area on the right, the main restaurant in the middle, and the window area on the left side. Upon entering the restaurant, you will discover soft lighting, frescoes of Italy on the walls, beige tiles covering the floor, and simple yet elegant furniture, with wooden chairs covered in white leather, and big comfortable brown-leather couches. The tables are covered in white tablecloths. As you walk through Roberto's, you discover a modern fireplace on the right, with black and white stones decorating it, and two large light fixtures hanging from the ceiling. The bar is situated towards the back of the outlet and has high bar chairs. In front of it, a high wooden table decorates the space, which offers some of the buffet items during breakfast or brunch. On the right, the space opens towards the open-kitchen area, ideally designed for breakfast, with coffee, natural juices and fruits counters, and on the back side against the wall, the cooking area, where chefs prepare the hot items right under your eyes. Returning to the main area and heading towards the opposite direction from the open-kitchen, you can see the window-area right in front of you on the left, separated by high wooden panels, and the private dining on the right, separated by a double glass door. This window area of Roberto's accommodates around 26 guests, depending on the table set-up, and offers a beautiful view over the summer terrace. The Private Dining Room, which is situated right next to the exit on the terrace, displays a long 14-seat table, beautiful golden wallpaper on the interior walls, and has a separate access door directly from the bar, for waiters to be able to serve guests in the room's intimacy, without opening the main access doors. The private dining also has direct exit to the terrace through the glass doors. All throughout the exterior side of the restaurant towards the terrace, the walls are actually big glass doors which can be opened during summer time to create one big open space.

The restaurant opens behind glass doors, with beautiful purple lights and interior decorations. Café Athenee offers 44 seated places, plus 7 seats at the bar on high chairs. As soon as you step inside the restaurant, on your right you will see a wall full of photos of famous people that have stayed in the hotel across time. From royalty to statesmen, from presidents to artists, from writers to actors, they are all immortalized on the Wall of Fame. Continuing on the right side as you walk inside the restaurant, you will see the Pastry Counter, with delicious pastry and desserts which can be ordered from the restaurant, and going further is the bar, beautifully lighted by purple lights and decorated with mosaic frescoes. On the left, there's a double row of tables, round and square wooden tables, with comfortable bordo leather chairs or couches, and a big 8-persons high-table with high-bar chairs right in the middle. This central rectangle table is decorated with mosaic frescoes in the same style as the bar. In the far back, just at the end of the restaurant, behind another set of small tables perfect for couples enjoying an intimate meal, the wall is covered into a bordo velvet wallpaper, which gives the entire venue a stylish and modern look. The floor is covered in black and white marble tiles, and the three impressive light fixtures on the ceiling are surrounded by purple colored soffits, spreading a soft light in the evening when the restaurant turns into a peaceful lounge. The LCD TV is pinned to the wall in front of the bed, and an avant-garde blue and gold painting hangs over the bed. Nightstands with modern lights are on the sides of the bed. At the front end you can find the master bathroom, with dark yet elegant tiles on the floor and walls. On the left you can find a glass walk-in shower with a big umbrella-like shower head, the toilet with bidet next to it, all of them separated by glass panels. In front, as you enter the bathroom, you can see a double sink and a mirror the size of the wall, with all the toiletries needed. On the right side, a corner bath tub with Jacuzzi completes the space. Fluffy towels and bathroom amenities can be found inside, as well as a small TV incorporated on the wall behind the bathroom door, which can be watched when taking a bath.
