San Diego's distinctive coastal culture is obvious the moment you arrive at Hilton San Diego Bayfront. This 30-story hotel, with sun and sea-inspired design, offers a cool vibe and great amenities.
When you enter the lobby through the doors by the valet carport, you are immediately faced with a large column and an artistic light fixture with colorful lights. At the bottom of the column is a circular seat for guests to use while waiting. On the left side of the lobby, there are five reception desks available for check-in. To the right of the reception desks sits the concierge desk where guests can plan their stay in San Diego. To the right of the concierge desk is the bellman desk.
Latin for 'sail,' Vela is the signature restaurant for the hotel and the centerpiece for our creative vision. With equal emphasis on food and wine, Vela is an experiential journey to the finest culinary regions of the world, coupled with breathtaking views of San Diego Bay and beyond.
With your back facing the escalators in Promenade West, Vela Restaurant is located to the right. The host stand is located on the right side of the restaurant. On the left side of the restaurant is Vela’s bar that serves hand-crafted cocktails and a diverse wine list. Above the bar are five spherical light fixtures. The buffet area is located on the right side of the restaurant where guests can enjoy a decadent daily breakfast buffet . Views of the beautiful San Diego Bay can be seen on the west end of the restaurant with floor to ceiling windows – the perfect setting for Vela’s dinner menuthat boasts a twist on classic cuisine with a touch of comfort. On the north side of the restaurant, guests have a view of the Promenade Plaza and San Diego Bay. On the east side of the restaurant there is a Private Dining Room with a chandelier, two wine cabinets, and a large wooden table that can accommodate up to 24 guests.
Odysea, 'A Liquid Adventure,' is a waterfront destination featuring distinctive flights of both popular and one-of-a-kind drinks. Odysea's perch beside the water — including outdoor terrace — is a main gathering place for hotel visitors.
Standing with your back to the registration desks in the lobby, you will see Odysea Lounge. The menu features signature Moscow Mules, hand-crafted cocktails, local craft beer, and locally farmed ingredients. Directly in front of the lounge, there is a large digital display with fourteen screens that displays hotel information, advertisements, and videos of San Diego. Upon entering Odysea Lounge, you will notice a large cross-shaped wooden table and various seating options for guests throughout the lounge. There are numerous electric outlets throughout Odysea Lounge to accommodate electronic devices for business or leisure purposes and five televisions. To the left of the lounge, there is a large live-action chef station and bar where guests can watch our chefs create delectable meat and cheese boards. Past the live-action chef station, there is a large room filled with places to sit, computers, books, and a small patio that also faces the San Diego Bay; which we call the Odysea Library. In the middle of Odysea Lounge is the oval shaped bar top with high top seating. To the left of the bar, there is an area with club-like seating, perfect for accommodating private parties. On the west end of the lounge, there are outdoor seating opportunities on the Odysea Patio with stunning views of the San Diego Bay, and on the North-West side, a smaller Odysea Patio with a view of the San Diego Bay overlooking Promenade Plaza.
This suite offers an expanded layout, ideal for intimate gatherings or small business meetings and offers beautiful bay views. Located in the living room is a large board table that can accommodate eight people, wet bar and entertainment armoire and two 65-inch flat-screen HDTVs.
One the right side of the entry way is a piece of art and long table with a telephone and a lamp. With your back to the door, you will face stunning views of the San Diego Bay and the San Diego Convention Center. Directly in front of the entry way is an executive-style desk with a lamp, telephone, wiring for internet and two chairs. To the right of the desk is a dining room table that accommodates up to eight guests with a large light fixture, and a bar that includes a coffee maker, an ice bucket, a refrigerator, and a sink. To the right side of the bar there is a restroom that includes a toilet and a sink. On the opposite side of the suite, facing the west end of the room, there is a living area that includes a couch with a pull-out bed, a coffee table, a cushioned bench, an ottoman, three lamps, and a table with a telephone. The couch faces a flat-screen HD television with Bose® surround sound, and a television stand. To the left of the living area is the king-sized bedroom. The bedroom includes a King Bed on a bed frame, two nightstands with lamps, an alarm clock, a telephone, a chair with a table, and lamp near the window with a view of Coronado Island and the San Diego Bay. To the left of the bedroom is the bathroom which includes a stand-up shower, bathtub, sink, upscale toiletries, a blow dryer, and a vanity table with a mirror.
Boasting magnificent views of San Diego Bay and the city, our Junior Suites offers a living space with full-sized sofa bed, large dining table with seating for four, a 55-inch flat-screen TV, chair, work desk, and an additional full-sized bath.
When you enter the Junior Suite, to the right side there is a bathroom that will include either a stand-up shower or a bathtub, a toilet, sink, toiletries, and a blow dryer. To the left of the bathroom, there is a closet that includes hangers, an iron, and an ironing board. When you enter the bedroom portion of the suite, there will be one King Bed, two nightstands with lamps, electrical outlets, one alarm clock, and one telephone. In front of the window, there is one standing lamp near a chaise lounge and a small table. On the left side of the room, there is a desk with mirror above it, a lamp and electric outlets for electronics. A flat-screen HD television faces the bed and sits on a TV stand that includes drawers for the guest’s belongings a safe, one coffee maker, and a bucket for ice. Next to the TV stand is the adjoining door into the suite portion of the room. On the left side there is another bathroom and closet. In the room on the left side, there is a large round table that can accommodate four guests. A love seat with a pull-out bed is located near the window. In front of the love seat is a coffee table, and next to it is a nightstand with an alarm clock and telephone. In front of the window, with a view of the San Diego Bay, is a chair and a small table. With your back to the love seat, there is a desk with mirror above it, a lamp and electric outlets for electronics. There is a flat-screen HD television that faces the love seat and sits on a TV stand that includes drawers for the guest’s belongings, a safe, one coffee maker, and a bucket for ice along with an ottoman.
Enjoy our luxurious one-bedroom King Presidential Suite with a separate living area and parlor with spectacular bay views. Private bedroom, separate shower/bathtub, queen-sized sofa bed, two 65-inch flat-screen TVs, WiFi, wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, nightly turndown service.
Upon entering the Presidential Suite, to the left there is a restroom that includes one toilet and a sink. On the right side of the entry way is a piece of art and a long table below it. Directly past the entry way is the living room portion of the suite with expansive views of the San Diego Bay through oversized windows. The living room includes a flat-screen HD television with Bose® speakers, an extra-large coffee table, one couch, two chairs, a chaise lounge, and two end tables. On the left side of the suite, there is a dining table that accommodates up to six guests with a large light fixture above it. Next to the window, by the dining room table, is a bar area that includes one coffee maker and an ice bucket. Behind the dining room table is a separate kitchen area with a refrigerator. The adjoining room access, if desired, is next to the kitchen area. On the right side of the suite is a piece of art and two chairs with a table. On the north side of the Presidential Suite, there is an executive-style desk with two chairs and a telephone. The bedroom of the Presidential Suite is located behind the desk area. The King Bed sits on a wooden frame in the middle of the room with two nightstands. To the right side of the room there is a mirror and vanity table. There is a flat-screen HD TV with Bose® speakers on a TV stand. In front of the north-facing bedroom window is a chaise lounge. There are access points to the large presidential bathroom on either side of the bedroom. The presidential bathroom includes both a standing shower and an extra-large bathtub. There is a window in the bathroom that looks down on the San Diego Bay and Bayfront Park. The room-length mirror in the bathroom includes an HD television. There are two sinks with modern glass bases, and another vanity area. The toilet is separated from the main bathroom. On the south end of the bathroom, there is access to a walk-in closet that includes two robes, hangers, an iron and an ironing board.
