Brisa Bistro offers tantalizing foods with fusion from many cultures found in south Florida, including Caribbean, South America and Europe. Executive chef Didier Pouzier has been responsible for the culinary direction and leadership of our famous Brisa Bistro Restaurant, 1601 Lounge and Social & Corporate Catering for the past three years. He is recognized in the industry for his creative recipes, as well as receiving respect from the event planner community throughout South Florida for his unique ability to create mouthwatering menus.
Chef Didier Pouzier held the Executive Chef position at Mandarin Oriental Miami, and subsequently was appointed for the Grand opening of the Mandarin Oriental in Washington D.C. During previous years, Didier had the great pleasure and opportunity to train with Celebrity Chef Paul Bocuse, one of the most prominent chefs associated with the nouvelle cuisine. Chef Pouzier is joining the Hilton Miami Downtown most recently from the Nautilus Hotel, where he worked in the capacity of Chef Consultant.
Chef Pouzier’s career in the restaurant industry spans over two decades, and includes experience at several well-known European restaurants in France, Italy and Greece.
Born in the city of Lyon, France, Chef Pouzier developed a passion for cooking at a very young age. He attended Lycee Rabelais a Dardilly, ranked among the top culinary schools in France.
