Cinnamon Hill Golf Course
Experience the very best in resort golf when you stay at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa. Take in stunning views of the Jamaican Mountains and Caribbean Sea at Cinnamon Hill Golf Course, a 400-acre, 18-hole golf course designed by Robert von Hagge. Offering both open and tight pin positions, smooth fairways next to areas of difficult rough, it is the perfect challenge for the resort golfer.
Cinnamon Hill has played host to World Golf Long Drive competitions and the LPGA Skills Challenge, as well as being the home of the Johnny Walker Cup for many years. The course was designed with elevations that give the sense of both links and inland golf. Enjoy the cool ocean spray on your cheeks on seaside greens and the wind against your back as you tee-off, 350 feet above sea level.

Cinnamon Hill Golf Course was originally designed by Hank Smedley in 1969, before being redesigned by Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril in 2001. A variety of local cultural and natural wonders are taken in and framed by the design. Highlights that golfers will encounter throughout their round include the historic Rose Hall Great House; a centuries-old burial plot for the family of English poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning; a gentle waterfall used in the James Bond movie ‘Live and Let Die’; and Cinnamon Hill Great House, the second home of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash for 30 years. |
