Spice up your next meeting by giving your attendees a truly authentic New Orleans experience with our new group classes and activities. Test your hand in a beignet making class, learn the history behind your favorite New Orleans cocktails in a mixology class, take part in a unique VIP experience in Drago's Seafood Restaurant, organize a team building sporting event in our Health Club by Hilton, or pamper your attendees with our Ringletts Express Menu.
Open any list of must-eat food items for New Orleans, and you're bound to stumble upon Drago's signature Charbroiled Oysters. This intimate and interactive class is held by Tommy Cvitanovich, the executive chef and owner of Drago's Seafood Restaurant and the creator of the famous charbroiled oysters. Your attendees will have the opportunity to hear how this delicious dish came to be known as the "Best Single Bite in New Orleans", what goes into his secret sauce, and how you can use it on anything - including charbroiled lobster! Your attendees will become experts as Tommy explains how to select the perfect oyster and demonstrates how they are shucked, all while enjoying an array of our most popular appetizers throughout the class.
This class is held in Public Belt, our speakeasy style lounge and your ticket to experience a bit of Old World charm in a contemporary setting. It is no secret that here in New Orleans we take our cocktails very seriously as it is the birthplace of many of the most enduring drinks. In this class, your attendees will have the opportunity to put their bartender skills to the test as we take them through an era of candle-lit rooms, smooth jazz, and hand-crafted, vintage cocktails. Our experienced bartenders will teach your attendees all about our city's deep rooted history with mixology and how to make three New Orleans classics: the Sazerac, an Old Fashioned, and a Hurricane. Extend the experience and add some live music to give your attendees a chance to socialize, relax, and enjoy our unique Public Belt bar all to themselves.
While in New Orleans, if you haven't had a beignet (pronounced ben-YAY), you aren't having the full experience of the city! These golden, powdered-sugar-dusted squares are best described as a cross between a French pastry and an American doughnut. Join our Hilton culinary team as they show your attendees the ins and outs of this iconic pastry and give them the chance to make their own powdered treat for a truly unique New Orleans experience. As the beignets cook, your attendees will be treated to wine and hors d'oeuvres while enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views from the 29th floor in our most luxurious space, Lagniappe 29.
Whether you want to organize a sports tournament on one of our seven tennis courts, set up a group spin or boot camp class with one of our certified personal trainers, or make use of our volleyball and basketball courts to host a thrilling obstacle course for a unifying team building event, our 100,000 sq. ft. Health Club by Hilton has the space to make it happen.
Give your attendees a revitalization break and a boost of energy with a stretching and meditation session in our aerobics room or opt to take it outside for a sunset yoga class. Our certified trainers will guide attendees through a 15-30 minute break designed to reinvigorate the mind and body leaving them feeling refreshed and energized.
Pamper your attendees with our Ringletts Express Menu. Our trained technicians will set up shop in the location of your choice giving your attendees a chance to sign up for and purchase a variety of 15-minute-or-less sessions throughout the day during their breaks. All you need to do is determine which services you'd like us to provide and how many technicians you'd like to service the event and we'll take care of the rest.
