Main Building 1st Floor

Enter on the 1st floor via the front drive valet or side drive bus parking. Engage with the concierge desk, dine at Drago's Seafood, Spirits Tavern, or Le Croissant Breakfast Restaurant. Travel to the renovated Grand Ballroom and Grand Salon meeting space or upstairs to the front desk.

Guests arriving at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside via the first floor entrance will see a cobblestone road directly ahead for cars to arrive at the entrance and a valet stand to the right. To the left are two doors to enter Drago's Seafood Restaurant from the outside. Walk straight ahead to a wide, full-glass, revolving door large enough to accommodate guests with luggage or wheelchairs. Also to the right is a separate handicap accessible door that can be opened by pushing the button on the wall. Continue thru the front doors and walk straight ahead, on the left is an escalator that takes guests up to the 2nd floor for check-in. Right after the escalator on the left is the concierge desk. To the right is a separate desk sometimes utilized as a second check-in area for Honors guests. After the desk on the right lies a sliding door that opens to the side drive entrance for shuttles and tour bus pickups and drop-offs. Continue to follow the marble tile straight ahead and find two sets of guest elevator banks on the right. The first set of elevators go up to the 16th floor only and the second set of elevators take guests all the way to the 29th floor. On the left just after the concierge desk lies a set of steps as well as a handicap accessible ramp that both provide access to the hostess stand for Drago's Seafood Restaurant. Just after this walkway on the left is an open-air sports networking bar named Spirits Tavern. Take the ramp to Drago's to enter the elevated and carpeted seating area for Spirits on the right or enter from the main walkway by walking up three steps. Spirits Tavern provides assorted small and elevated tables with upholstered chairs scattered about the area. Six TV screens are mounted above a large centrally located bar. Return to the main walkway. Next to Spirits Tavern, on non-elevated ground to the left, discover Le Croissant, an open-air breakfast restaurant. Sectioned off by half walls made of clear glass, Le Croissant provides an assortment of small tables with upholstered chairs. Walk past the tables to the back of the restaurant to find a spacious breakfast buffet space with built in counter space wrapping around it. Continuing down the main corridor walkway across from Le Croissant lies All That Jazz, a gift shop with an all glass facade. Enter the shop to find clothing hanging from racks as well as jewelry, postcards, and sunglasses racks. Along the back wall is shelving offering toiletries and New Orleans themed merchandise for sale. Returning to the main walkway, just after the gift shop the tile flooring turns to carpet and a second set of sliding doors appear on the right with a shoe shine, walk-in closet space on the left. Travel out the sliding doors to the right to view the concrete road and entrance for shuttles and bus drop offs and pickups that connects back to the front drive. Return inside and follow the main walkway further ahead to see two built-in 1st floor registration counters on the left and escalators to 2nd and 3rd floor meeting space on the right. Continue straight ahead to locate the 1st floor restrooms on the left, a small meeting space named Burgundy, also on the left, and an entrance with three sets of double doors to the Grand Ballroom, Chemin Royale, and Grand Salon meeting spaces ahead. On the right find a small table surrounded by upholstered chairs to relax in. Just after the seating area on the right there are two side by side elevators that go up to the 2nd and 3rd floor meeting spaces as well as the 5th floor of the self-parking garage where handicap accessible parking can be found.
